CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan were foiled for a mere 91 against New Zealand in the first T20I of the five match series played at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
During the match, Pakistani batters looked clueless against the New Zealand seamers and were restricted to 14-4 in the powerplay.
Salman Ali Agha and Khushdil Shah formed a small partnership but it came to an end after the former got out to Ish Sodhi after scoring 18 runs.
Khushdil was the highest scorer from Pakistan with 32 runs off 30 deliveries.
Earlier, New Zealand had won the toss and elected to field first.
For the hosts, Jacob Duffy starred with four wickets while Kyle Jamieson claimed three scalps. Sodhi dismissed two batters while skipper Bracewell bagged one wicket.
