Pakistan welcomed New Year 2026 with breathtaking scenes from coast to mountains.

The first sunrise appeared in Shakargarh, followed by glowing mornings in Sukkur and Karachi, while Nathia Gali rang in the New Year under a blanket of snowfall, adding winter magic to the celebrations.

As the nation stepped into the New Year, BOL extended warm morning greetings to people across the country, sharing a message of unity, renewal, and hope.

Special prayers were offered in mosques nationwide for the country’s security, economic improvement and public well-being. Citizens expressed hope that 2026 would bring progress and better times for the nation.

Karachi welcomed the first sunrise of 2026 at 7:17 am, drawing large crowds to Hill Park where people gathered to greet the New Year and capture the picturesque moment on their cameras. Meanwhile, thick fog blanketed Lahore and Multan, preventing residents from witnessing the sunrise. Despite the weather, citizens in both cities expressed optimism and hope for the year ahead.

Citizens prayed that 2026 would be a year of happiness, peace and success for the country, bringing prosperity to its people despite the challenges ahead.

May New Year 2026 bring happiness, peace, and success to every corner of Pakistan.
