Hot and dry weather predicted over next 24 hours in Karachi

The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that hot and dry weather is expected in Karachi over the next 24 hours, with clear skies during the day.

According to the latest update, the city will mostly remain sunny and hot, and there is no strong chance of rain. Officials said the maximum temperature is likely to stay between 36°C and 38°C, while the minimum temperature recorded at night was around 29°C. The overall weather shows that heat will continue in the city.

The met department also said that strong winds may blow in some areas during this time. Right now, winds are coming from the west at a speed of about 11 kilometers per hour.

Humidity in the city is around 66 percent, which can make the weather feel more uncomfortable because of the mix of heat and moisture. Experts say this type of weather is normal for this season in Karachi, especially when sea breezes are weak.

People, especially children, older individuals, and those working outside, have been advised to be careful. They should drink plenty of water, avoid going out in direct sunlight during peak hours, and wear light clothes.

The Met Office added that no major change in weather is expected soon, but it will keep checking conditions and provide updates if needed.
Karachi, as a coastal city, often sees changes in humidity, which can make hot weather feel stronger even if temperatures are not extremely high.
