Brad Pitt started questioning what kind of a father he was after his and Angelina Jolie’s adopted son, Pax, lashed out at him in a Father’s Day post.
In 2020, the now-21-year-old called the Hollywood star “a world class a******” and penned, “You time and time and again prove yourself to be a terrible and despicable person.”
While Pax posted it on his private Instagram account, it was later leaked into the media. “That was a knife to Brad’s heart,” a source said of Pitt’s reaction.
“Brad would never speak about it in public and he does his best to act like it doesn’t hurt, but it was soul crushing,” the source added to Heat Magazine.
“No doubt he questions what kind of dad he must have been to warrant this kind of rejection,” they revealed.
This comes after it was revealed that Pitt has grown so detached from Pax that he thinks their relationship is “beyond repair.”
“Brad honestly considers his relationship with Pax unfixable,” an insider told Daily Mail. “He is seemingly ready to cut ties with one more child while holding out hope for the remaining children.”
Another insider said that the F1 actor has no plans to reach out to either of his sons, adding that Pitt has “nothing to say about either of them.”
