Sanctions target people, companies, even aircraft located in Iran, Turkey, and UAE.

The United States has imposed new sanctions on 14 individuals and companies accused of helping Iran acquire weapons, as Tehran works to rebuild its ballistic missile stock after recent US-Israeli strikes, according to the US Department of the Treasury.

The sanctions target people, companies, and even aircraft located in Iran, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates. Authorities said these entities were involved in sourcing or transporting weapons and related components on behalf of Iran.

These new measures come at a time when Washington and Tehran remain at a deadlock over whether to start a second round of negotiations aimed at reaching an agreement. The potential deal is expected to ensure the stability of the Strait of Hormuz and help end the ongoing conflict involving the United States, Israel, and Iran.
