Karachi: A western weather system has entered Balochistan, bringing light rain to Quetta and surrounding areas.

In Karachi, thunderstorms accompanied by rain are expected later today, with precipitation likely to begin after 11 AM. Weather conditions may include lightning and gusty winds, with rainfall ranging from light to moderate intensity.

The city recorded a minimum temperature of 22.6°C, while the maximum is expected to reach 31°C. Humidity stands at 56%, and winds are blowing at 11 km/h. Skies will remain partly cloudy throughout the day.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the system will remain active in the upper regions until April 9. Widespread rain is forecast across Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir, while higher altitudes may receive snowfall.

Within Sindh, rainfall is also expected in Thatta, Badin, and Sujawal, with a possibility of isolated hailstorms in certain areas.
