LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League has created fresh history with a landmark surge in the value of its international media rights, recording a 149 percent increase compared to last year.

A Pakistani company has purchased the international media rights for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) at a record-breaking price, setting a historic benchmark for the league.

The company’s bid exceeded the PCB’s reserve price, resulting in a 149 percent increase in the value of international media rights compared to last year. The surge reflects PSL’s growing popularity and brand value on the global stage.

PSL CEO Salman Naseer stated that the league is cementing its place among the world’s top T20 competitions.

He added that the significant increase in international media rights demonstrates global confidence in HBL PSL, with competitive and high-quality cricket capturing the attention of fans worldwide.

Salman Naseer further noted that the new agreement strengthens confidence in the league’s business growth and positions PSL for further international recognition.
