Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo is stepping into a bold new era of creativity and influence, unveiling her own music festival while simultaneously extending her record-breaking streak on the global charts.

The singer has officially announced the “Daisy Chain Fields Festival,” set to take place on 29 August at Great Park in Irvine, California, featuring an entirely female-led lineup that has already sent waves of excitement through the music industry.

Rodrigo shared the announcement on social media, describing the project as a long-held dream finally coming to life. “Truly never felt more excited to share a piece of news with you all. I’ve had a dream of doing this festival for years and I am so ecstatic it’s finally coming true,” she wrote, calling the lineup “full of my heroes and friends.”

The festival boasts a powerhouse roster including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Katseye, Mitski, The Breeders, Bikini Kill, Garbage, Die Spitz, Eli, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, and Not for Radio, along with special guest appearances from icons such as Karen O, Stevie Nicks, and Sarah McLachlan.

Beyond its musical celebration, the festival carries a strong philanthropic mission. All net proceeds will be donated to organizations supporting women and girls, including Planned Parenthood, the Center for Reproductive Rights, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Baby2Baby, the National Women’s Law Center, and the Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health.

Rodrigo emphasized that “joy, community, and music can be the drivers of meaningful change,” expressing hope that the event becomes a force for impact as well as celebration.

As anticipation builds for the festival, Rodrigo is also celebrating a major career milestone. Her latest album, “You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love,” has debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, marking her third consecutive chart-topping album.

The record opened with an impressive 485,000 equivalent album units, making it her biggest debut week to date and the strongest week for any solo artist in 2026. Vinyl sales played a significant role in its success, with 164,000 units sold, the highest vinyl week of the year by a female artist.

This achievement follows her earlier chart-topping albums “Sour” (2021) and “Guts” (2023), both of which cemented her as one of the most consistent hitmakers of her generation.

Olivia Rodrigo scores third straight No. 1 with latest album

With momentum at an all-time high, Rodrigo is now preparing for her “Unraveled World Tour,” kicking off on September 25 in Hartford, Connecticut, before heading across North America and continuing internationally in 2027.

From launching a festival rooted in empowerment to dominating global charts, Olivia Rodrigo is currently defining one of the most powerful and emotionally charged chapters of her career and fans worldwide are loving every moment of it.
