Jon Hamm is officially entering a new chapter as he prepares to become a first-time father at 55.
Three years after tying the knot, the Golden Globe-winner and his wife Anna Osceola — who met on the set of Mad Men — are expecting their first child together. People magazine confirmed the news on Monday, August 10, after the Daily Mail published photos of the couple vacationing in The Hamptons with Osceola’s growing baby bump on full display.
The pregnancy marks a major milestone for Hamm, who once admitted that becoming a father later in life was something he had begun to consider after marrying Osceola.
Hamm and Osceola first met while working on Mad Men in 2015. He played Don Draper, while Osceola appeared as receptionist Clementine in the series finale. They began dating in 2020 and tied the knot in June 2023.
Following their wedding, Hamm opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about his hopes of starting a family. Reflecting on his parents’ divorce, he said he previously “didn’t look at marriage as a thing,” but his outlook changed after finding Osceola.
The Emmy-winner said he “hopes [their marriage] turns into kids.”
“It’s not lost on me that I’m 53,” he admitted at the time. “I will be the old dad, but so it goes. It could be a good thing. We’ll see.”
