    Pakistani athlete Fauzia Hemani-Madhani completes fourth full Ironman challenge in Canada

    Hemani-Madhani previously completed full Ironman races in 2021, 2024 and 2025.

    Pakistani endurance athlete Fauzia Hemani-Madhani has successfully completed her fourth full Ironman Triathlon, once again demonstrating her endurance and determination at the Ironman Canada-Ottawa event in Ottawa, Ontario.

    Around 3,000 athletes took part in the demanding competition August 2, 2026. The race featured a 3.8-kilometer swim, a 180-kilometer bike ride and a 42.2-kilometer marathon.

    The Canada-based Pakistani athlete completed the full Ironman in 15 hours, 23 minutes and 35 seconds. She finished the swim in 1 hour, 45 minutes, the bike ride in 7 hours, 7 minutes, and the marathon in 6 hours, 11 minutes.

    The Ironman Canada-Ottawa course took athletes through the Ottawa River, along closed parkways and through city streets before finishing near Parliament Hill.

    The Ironman Triathlon is considered one of the world’s toughest endurance events, requiring participants to complete a total distance of 226.3 kilometers across swimming, cycling and running.

    Hemani-Madhani previously completed full Ironman races in 2021, 2024 and 2025. She has also successfully completed five Half-Ironman events.

    Her latest achievement marks another major milestone in her endurance sports career and highlights the growing presence of Pakistani athletes in international ultra-endurance competitions.
