ISIS is present in Afghanistan and is reorganizing on Afghan land, said overseas foreign office spokesperson Tahir Hussain Andarabi. He added that Afghanistan’s allegations regarding Pakistan are absolutely rejected.
He stated that terrorist organizations are using Afghan territory to carry out operations against Pakistan. The spokesperson also welcomed Dr. Ali Larijani’s statement offering a “blank test.”
According to the spokesperson, Pakistan has no official knowledge of any solid mediation proposal from Saudi Arabia between Pakistan and the Afghan Taliban. He noted that media reports exist, but they do not have any official basis. Pakistan would welcome any concrete offer of mediation.
Pakistan-Iran Gas Pipeline Talks:
The foreign office spokesperson said consultations are ongoing between Pakistan and Iran regarding the gas pipeline mission. Both countries are trying to reach a mutual answer, and he expressed hope that the problem would be resolved smoothly.
Clarification on UAE Visas
Responding to reports about the United Arab Emirates, the spokesperson denied any restrictions or new legal guidelines affecting Pakistan. Pakistani Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan has also called such reports false. According to the spokesperson, the National Assembly’s standing committee may have been briefed based on older records.
Response to Indian Statements:
The spokesperson condemned a current controversial statement by India’s Defense Minister, calling it provocative and a cause for problems among institutions responsible for upholding international law.
He mentioned that Sindh became the primary province to vote in favor of Pakistan at the time of independence, and India should refrain from making provocative remarks.

He additionally criticized India for not sharing water information under the Indus Waters Treaty, describing it as unfortunate and a sign that India is using water as a tool of pressure. Pakistan is actively following up on this problem, including raising it at meetings of neutral experts in Vienna.
Afghan Refugee Concerns:
Tahir Hussain Andarabi said Pakistan has serious issues with unnecessary delays in the relocation of Afghan citizens who are looking forward to resettlement in third countries. These are nations that have already promised to host Afghan refugees.
