KARACHI: Pakistan continued their impressive run in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, securing a commanding eight-wicket victory over New Zealand on Tuesday.
After winning the toss, Pakistan opted to field first — a decision that proved highly effective as the bowlers delivered a disciplined performance to bundle out New Zealand for just 110 runs in 28.3 overs.
Chasing a modest target of 111, Pakistan reached the total comfortably in 17.1 overs, losing only two wickets to seal a comprehensive win.

On the bowling front, Abdul Subhan starred for Pakistan with an excellent spell, claiming four wickets, while Ali Raza supported well with three wickets. Mohammad Siyam and Momin Qamar picked up one wicket each.
The dominant performance further strengthened Pakistan’s position in the tournament and highlighted the team’s balanced combination of strong bowling and confident batting.
