LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 15-member One-Day International (ODI) squad for the upcoming series against Bangladesh national cricket team.

Shaheen Shah Afridi will continue to lead the ODI side for the Bangladesh tour, reaffirming the board’s confidence in his leadership.

In a major development, key players including Babar Azam, Saim Ayub, Fakhar Zaman, Haseebullah, and Hassan Nawaz have been dropped from the national ODI squad.

    Squad Members

The 15-member squad includes: Shaheen Shah Afridi (Captain), Abdul Samad, Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf,  Faisal Akram, Haris Rauf, Hussain Talat, Moaz Sadaqat, Mohammad Rizwan, Mohammad Wasim Jr,  Mohammad Ghazi Ghouri, Saad Masood, Sahibzada Farhan, Salman Ali Agha and Shumail Hussain.

The ODI series between Pakistan and Bangladesh is scheduled to take place in Dhaka from March 11 to March 15.

The exclusion of senior players, particularly Babar Azam and Saim Ayub, is expected to spark debate among cricket circles as Pakistan look to reshape their squad ahead of upcoming international commitments.
