The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has launched a major crackdown on petrol pumps across the country. Surprise inspections are being carried out in different cities to check violations of rules and regulations at petrol stations.

OGRA Chairman Masroor Khan personally visited several petrol pumps along with enforcement teams, where licenses, mandatory documents, and petroleum product stocks were thoroughly inspected.

OGRA has issued clear instructions to petrol pump owners to strictly follow laws, safety standards, and the code of conduct, warning that no negligence will be tolerated.

According to OGRA officials, protecting consumers’ interests and ensuring an uninterrupted supply of petroleum products are the authority’s top priorities. They added that regular and continuous inspections will continue to eliminate illegal practices.
