Ariana Grande brought Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo out on stage during her August 16 Eternal Sunshine tour stop at London’s O2 Arena, with the pair performing For Good and a Happy Days medley together on the second night of Grande’s UK residency.
The surprise reunion delighted fans who’d been hoping to see the duo share a stage again since their film run wrapped.
The performance comes during an especially scrutinised stretch for Grande, whose physical appearance has drawn heavy online commentary in recent weeks, particularly following the release of her eighth studio album, Petal, and its title track’s accompanying music video on July 31.
Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour, sharing its name with her seventh album, wraps with its final show at the O2 on September 1, after which she’s set to step back from public appearances.
She’s also already withdrawn from the West End revival of Sunday in the Park With George, in which she was set to star opposite fellow Wicked alum Jonathan Bailey.
