London: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has stated that, no deal is being made with the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), nor is any special relief being granted.
Speaking to the media in London, he said that the health condition of the PTI founder is not alarming. He added that unnecessary sensationalism was spread on social media regarding the matter. According to the minister, the PTI founder’s health has significantly improved and the issue has now been resolved.
Tarar further revealed that PTI leaders were given a detailed briefing about the founder’s health condition. He emphasized that health-related matters should not be politicized.
Referring to past political statements about “removing the AC,” the minister mentioned that such remarks were made previously but did not elaborate further.
Commenting on Pakistan’s defeat against India in the recent match, Tarar said there has been no formal discussion with the Prime Minister regarding the loss. He remarked that winning and losing are part of the game, adding that there is considerable room for improvement in the team’s performance and expressing confidence that things will improve.
The minister also shared that he has received an invitation to participate in the Gaza Board of Peace. He reiterated that Pakistan has consistently played a constructive role on international platforms and maintained that the country’s stance on Palestine remains clear. “Pakistan will always raise its voice for the Palestinians,” he affirmed.
Additionally, Tarar said that the recent meeting between the Prime Minister and the Austrian Chancellor was productive. He noted that Austrian companies have made significant investments in Pakistan, reflecting strengthening bilateral ties.
