MURREE: The Punjab Education Department has announced short summer vacations for schools in Murree and Kotli Sattian due to seasonal conditions.
According to an official notification, all public and private schools in Murree and Kotli Sattian will remain closed from July 18 to July 31, 2026.
The Education Department issued the notification confirming the schedule for the brief summer break in both hill stations.
Schools in Murree and Kotli Sattian will reopen on August 1, 2026, after the conclusion of the vacation period.

Earlier, The Balochistan School Education Department has announced summer vacations for government and private schools located in the province’s cold regions.
According to a notification issued by the School Education Department, schools in the cold areas will remain closed from July 18 through Aug. 2.
The department said academic activities in both the cold and warm regions of the province will resume on Aug. 3 following the conclusion of the summer break.
Education authorities directed divisional directors, district education officers, school principals and other administrators to ensure strict implementation of the vacation schedule and to make necessary arrangements for the timely reopening of schools.
The department also urged parents, teachers and students to plan their academic activities according to the announced schedule to ensure an organized start to the new academic session.
