Isla Fisher is embracing her new chapter with open arms.
In a new interview with E! News published on Friday, August 7, the Now You See Me star opened up about life after her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen after 13 years of marriage in 2023.
“I would say that I’m much stronger than I thought I was,” Fisher, 50, reflected. “And I would say that my friendships, my female friendships, have really been instrumental to me discovering or recovering that strength. I’m incredibly grateful.”
Fisher and Cohen met in 2002 and got engaged after two years of dating. They tied the knot in 2010 in a private ceremony in Paris and went on to welcome three children together.
But in 2024, the power couple shocked fans when they announced that they had separated one year prior.
“We forever share in our devotion and love for our children,” they emphasised in their Instagram statement at the time.
Their divorce was finalised in June 2025. Months before the finalisation, Fisher admitted that the split was “the most difficult thing [she’s[ been through.”
