The winds are expected to enter Balochistan from Iran on April 5 and influence weather conditions across Sindh.

Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi on April 6, driven by an incoming system of westerly winds.

According to the Met Office, the system may also bring thunderstorms, rain, and isolated hailstorms to districts such as Sukkur, Kashmore, and Ghotki on April 6.

Additionally, light to moderate rainfall is predicted in several other areas, including Jamshoro, Dadu, Kambar Shahdadkot, Naushahro Feroze, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sanghar, Mirpurkhas, Matiari, Hyderabad, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Thatta, Badin, and Sujawal.

Authorities have warned that strong winds, lightning, and possible hail could damage vulnerable structures like electric poles, billboards, and solar panels.

Farmers have also been advised to take precautionary steps to safeguard their crops from potential damage.
