SEOUL : K-pop supergroup BTS has returned to the Billboard 200 top 10 with its fifth studio album “ARIRANG,” rising to No. 9 in the latest U.S. album rankings after increased sales and global attention from the group’s major performances.

According to Billboard’s latest chart preview released Sunday, “ARIRANG” moved up from No. 26 the previous week to secure the ninth position on the main albums chart.

The album’s rise was linked to strong sales following the release of a special vinyl edition. The new version includes two additional tracks, “Voice Message: Love Song” and “Normal,” which helped increase demand among fans.

Billboard also highlighted BTS’ recent appearance at the 2026 FIFA World Cup final halftime show, where the group performed its worldwide hit “Dynamite,” adding further attention to the album.

Released in March, “ARIRANG” achieved a major milestone by becoming the first album by a K-pop group to remain at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for three consecutive weeks.

The latest achievement adds another record to BTS’ long list of global successes and shows the group’s continued influence in the international music industry despite being active for more than a decade.

The Billboard 200 ranks the most popular albums in the United States every week based on total album units. The ranking combines physical and digital album sales, streaming numbers and digital song downloads to measure overall popularity.

BTS’ return to the top 10 reflects the strong connection between the group and its worldwide fan base.  With the album continuing to perform strongly on major music charts, BTS has once again demonstrated its ability to attract listeners across different markets and maintain its position as one of the most successful acts in global pop music.
