Andrew Garfield has admitted that he has a secret Instagram account, even though he does not have a public one.
The actor said he is “addicted” to the app and often spends more time on it than he wants to.
He told Variety that his screen time reports are “horrific” because they show how many hours he has spent looking at his phone.
Garfield shared that he gets pulled into different things on Instagram, including strange ceramics and Japanese crafts.
The Spider-Man actor also said he understands why people sometimes want to throw their phones away.
The actor believes one simple thing can help, sharing that leaving a phone in another room can make it much easier to stop checking it.
Garfield also opened up about his acting career and admitted that he has thought about leaving it behind “all the time”.
He has been working almost nonstop this year, spending around 11 or 12 months on different projects.
While he wants people to see his work, Garfield said he would rather spend his days in the countryside making things from wood and enjoying a quieter life.
For now, he is still busy with acting. He will appear in Artificial with his partner Monica Barbaro.
Barbaro recently praised Andrew, calling him “one of the best actors of our generation” and saying she learned a lot from working with him.
