KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani singer Ali Zafar has expressed profound pride and relief after being fully exonerated in his high-profile harassment case with the sessions court issuing its verdict on March 31.

In the same ruling, Meesha Shafi was fined Rs. 5 million for defamation.

The court underscored that Meesha Shafi failed to present herself in court and could not substantiate her claims, whereas Ali Zafar successfully submitted all requisite witnesses to support his defense.

Addressing the public Ali Zafar shared on Instagram his gratitude to God and to those who steadfastly supported him throughout this challenging ordeal. He remarked that he is immensely proud of the justice delivered, yet remains humble and deeply appreciative of the encouragement he received.

Ali Zafar further emphasized that he bears no ill will toward any party and hopes that this chapter can now be conclusively closed, allowing all involved to proceed with dignity and mutual respect.
