US congressman says royal family should Be ‘Ashamed’ over Andrew’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein

A US lawmaker has called on the British Royal Family to take responsibility for the harm linked to Jeffrey Epstein, saying the monarchy should feel “ashamed” over its past connections to Prince Andrew.

California Congressman Ro Khanna criticized the Royal Family for attempting to distance itself from the scandal, emphasizing that the victims deserve more than expressions of sympathy. “The Royal Family should personally compensate Epstein’s victims. Who agrees?” he wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter).

Khanna’s comments come amid renewed scrutiny of Prince Andrew’s links to Epstein, prompting King Charles to strip Andrew of his royal titles and official duties.

He shared a report from The i Paper, highlighting revelations from the so-called Epstein files, including photographs showing the former prince in compromising situations at Sandringham and requests to Ghislaine Maxwell to find “new inappropriate friends.”

“The Royal Family should be ashamed and horrified,” Khanna added. “They should be compensating each of the working-class girls who were victims of the Epstein scandal.”

Buckingham Palace has yet to comment on the latest calls for accountability.
