    Tri-Nation Series; Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka by 67 runs

    Zimbabwe defeated Sri Lanka by 67 runs in the second match of the Tri-Nation Series.

    The second match of the Tri-Nation Series between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe is being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, in which Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to field.

    Batting first, Zimbabwe scored 162 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the stipulated 20 overs, after which the Sri Lankan team was bundled out for 95 runs.

    Captain Dasan Shanaka top-scored with 34 runs, while Brad Evans took 3 and Richard Ngarawa took 2 wickets for Zimbabwe.

    Earlier, in the first innings, Zimbabwe’s Brian Bennett scored 49 runs, captain Sikandar Raza scored 47, Ryan Burrell 18, Brendan Taylor 11, Tashinga Mozikiwa 11 and Tadewanis Maramani 10 runs.

    For Sri Lanka, Vinindu Hasaranga took 3 wickets, Ishan Malinga took 2 wickets, while Dusmantha Chimera and Mahesh Thekkishna took 1 wicket each.
