Trevor Nelson shared a major health update with his fans after revealing that he has been diagnosed with a brain tumour.
The 62-year-old DJ and Radio 2 presenter stepped away from work earlier this summer after doctors asked him to do more tests.
At the time, he did not say what was wrong, leaving many fans worried about him.
Now, Nelson has explained what happened and shared that the diagnosis came as a huge shock.
He, however, said doctors found the tumour while he was going about his normal life. The news left him shocked and turned his world upside down.
Nelson then faced very serious surgery and spent the past month recovering and having treatment after the operation.
Thankfully, he says he is now feeling much better, also telling his fans that he feels strong again and is almost back to his normal self.
Nelson also made it clear that he is ready to return to work as he plans to come back to radio first and then return to his DJ shows.
The star then thanked everyone who sent him messages, love and support during this difficult time.
Trevor’s Radio 2 colleagues have also shared their support as well.
