Tom Holland, the British actor best known for playing Spider-Man, has confirmed that he and co-star Zendaya have already got married.
The couple has been together for several years and got engaged in December 2024. Their wedding has been widely talked about and speculated on for a long time.
This speculation increased after Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, said in March 2026 during a red carpet interview that the wedding had already taken place. He told Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened. You missed it.”
Zendaya, while speaking about her film The Drama on the Jimmy Kimmel show, did not confirm or deny the marriage clearly, which also added to the rumors.
Later, Tom Holland spoke to Esquire about AI-generated wedding photos that spread online and were liked by around 10 million Instagram accounts. He said that his grandmother was briefly upset because she thought she had not been invited to the wedding.
When asked if he had to inform other family members, Holland paused and said, “No, because they were all there.” He then refused to answer further questions, saying, “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
Holland also talked about his relationship with Zendaya and explained how important it is to him. He said that their work can be very stressful, so having a strong relationship helps them support each other. He added that only they truly understand the kind of life they live, and because of this, their relationship feels very special to him.
He also said, “We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.”
Holland further said, “So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I have ever been when I’m with her, but I have also never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
The actor also talked about their professional connection. The new Spider-Man movie Brand New Day is set to release at the end of July and is expected to be the start of a new trilogy starring Holland. He and Zendaya first met when she auditioned for Spider-Man: Homecoming.
He said, “Obviously, I was super excited at the prospect of working with her and getting to know her,” and added that Zendaya gave an excellent audition and got the role before she even left the room. He also recalled that producer Amy Pascal immediately agreed she should be cast as soon as she finished her audition.
