In a candid and emotional interview, TikTok sensation Warda Malik revealed the personal and societal pressures she faces as a social media influencer.

Opening up for the first time, she explained that her journey into TikTok was not for fame but out of necessity to support her brother’s wedding, household expenses, and her father.

Amid tears, she spoke about the harsh criticism, false rumors, and family opposition that have become an unavoidable part of her life, while emphasizing her determination to continue creating content responsibly.

Reflecting on the constant backlash she receives, Warda admitted that criticism has become an inevitable part of her life. “Whether we do good or bad, people curse us. No respectable person enjoys this. It’s painful, but it comes with the territory,” she said.

She recalled hurtful remarks made about her at a recent wedding but emphasized her determination to continue her work despite the negativity.

Warda also shared that her content has occasionally led to opposition from her family. Nevertheless, financial responsibilities and personal circumstances have compelled her to stay committed to her career. She revealed that in a 15 to 20-minute session, she can earn up to PKR 120,000, noting that live streams often involve followers sending gifts accompanied by inappropriate requests.

Addressing false rumors circulating online, Warda clarified that some people had created fake profiles using her photos, falsely claiming she had been married three times and even had children. “These lies unfairly damage my character despite the good work I do,” she said.

She further clarified that her work is solely to support her family: “Even if I got married, I would still have household responsibilities. I make videos to earn and provide for my family. I am not harming, disrespecting, or breaking anyone’s heart. This is my own work, and I am not destroying anyone’s home or insulting anyone. My goal is simply to manage my profile responsibly.”

Reflecting on her personal life, she said, “When I look at my family, everything feels right and meaningful. But when I see myself, I see I have lost peace. I bring peace to others, yet those who spread negativity or hate whether to bully or satisfy their own desires risk losing themselves. You may think you are protecting your family or dreams, but in the end, you may lose your own sense of self.”

Warda Malik’s statement highlights the pressures social media influencers face, balancing public scrutiny, personal responsibilities, and false narratives, all while striving to maintain dignity and provide for their loved ones.
