According to officials, the arrested individuals were linked to a banned outfit identified as Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).

KARACHI: Law enforcement agencies (LEA) achieved a key breakthrough as three suspected militants were taken into custody during a joint operation in Lyari area of Karachi.

The raid was jointly conducted by security agencies and Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).

According to officials, the arrested individuals were linked to a banned outfit identified as Fitna al-Hindustan (FAH).
During initial interrogation, the suspects reportedly made key revelations about their activities and plans.

Authorities stated that the militants were allegedly planning a major act of sabotage in Karachi. Among those arrested is a suspect identified as Imran son of Ali Muhammad, along with two accomplices.

A 30-bore pistol and 18 rounds of ammunition were recovered from the suspects. CTD officials said the weapons were intended to be used for subversive activities in the city.

Cases have been registered against the accused, and further investigations are underway. Law enforcement agencies are also actively working to trace and apprehend facilitators linked to the group.
