The UAE sends the search and rescue team to those affected by the Afghanistan earthquake

ABU DHABI – In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the State “may God protect him”, the UAE has urgently sent the UAE search and rescue team of the Abu Dhabi Civil Defense Authority, the National Guard and the leadership of joint operations, to support search and rescue efforts and support those affected by the earthquake that struck the eastern regions of Afghanistan. The UAE has also sent urgent humanitarian aid that includes basic relief materials that include food, medical supplies, and shelter tents, with the aim of supporting the affected, wounded and injured, and mitigating the effects of disaster on the affected families.
