“The National Meteorology”: The storm “Shakti” is retreating to a tropical depression within 24 hours … and there is no effect in the Emirates

The National Meteorological Center confirmed that the current tropical situation in the Arabian Sea at a latitude of 19.6 north and a length of 60.5 east, which was called “Shakti”, has no effect in the Emirates. In its latest updates, the center explained that “Shakti” is currently classified as a tropical storm concentrated in the west of the Arabian Sea, accompanied by winds ranging between 60 and 70 km per hour. The center expected that the tropical situation will witness a decline in its strength during the next 24 hours, to gradually turn into a tropical depression, and then to an air depression, as it continues to move towards the southeast – east at a speed ranging between 25 and 55 km per hour.
