Taylor Swift is making her grand comeback at the Country Music Association Awards this year.
On Thursday, September 10, the pop superstar reacted to her new song, I Knew It, I Knew You, being nominated in the Single of the Year category for the 2026 CMA Awards, marking her first CMA nomination in four years. Swift, 36, took to her Instagram Stories to celebrate the honour.
“LOOKS LIKE I HAVEN’T YEE’D MY LAST HAW,” she wrote as she thanked CMA.
The multi-Grammy winner further confirmed that she will be in attendance at the November 18th ceremony at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
“See you there Nov 18,” she wrote, adding a cowboy emoji.
Swift released I Knew It, I Knew You — released June 5 — for the Toy Story 5 soundtrack, written from the perspective of the character Jessie. Swift wrote and produced the song with her longtime collaborator, Jack Antonoff, after attending an early screening of the film.
“I fell instantly in love with Toy Story 5 when I was lucky enough to see it in its early stages, and I wrote this song as soon as I got home from the screening,” Swift wrote in an Instagram post announcing the song.
She later revealed, “Writing this song felt like a musical departure and coming home at the same time. Creating something for Jessie was a new challenge and also felt like second nature all at once.”
Swift is up against Ella Langley’s Be Her and Choosin’ Texas, Lainey Wilson’s Somewhere Over Laredo, and Cody Johnson’s The Fall.
