
NEW DELHI: At least 15 people, including ten women and three children, have died in a stampede at the New Delhi railway station as passengers rushed to board two delayed trains, the Indian media reported, citing government officials.
The incident occurred around 2000 local time (1430 GMT) on two platforms as passengers waited to board trains to Prayagraj city, which is hosting the Maha Kumbh festival.
