    Security forces kill four terrorists in separate operations in KP

    RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed four militants during two intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province here on Thursday.

    According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the night of June 3–4, four khwarij belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-Al-Khwarij were killed in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

    On reported presence of khwarij, an intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in Dera Ismail Khan District.

    During conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged khwarij location and after intense exchange of fire, two khwarij, belonging to Indian-sponsored Fitna-al-Khwarij were sent to hell.

    Another intelligence based operation was conducted by security forces in Mohmand District. In ensuing skill-full engagement, two more khwarij was effectively neutralised.

    Weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from killed Indian sponsored khwarij, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area.

    Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area, as relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.

    Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to security forces for their successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij militants, commending their professionalism and bravery.

    The president lauded the security forces for eliminating four terrorists during the operation, saying their exemplary skills and dedication reflect the nation’s unwavering resolve against terrorism.

    President Zardari reiterated that thwarting every conspiracy aimed at undermining Pakistan’s peace and stability remains a top national priority. He emphasized that the country’s security institutions are fully committed to safeguarding the nation and protecting its citizens from terrorist threats.

    He further stated that operations against terrorist elements would continue until the complete eradication of terrorism from the country, reaffirming Pakistan’s determination to ensure lasting peace and stability.

    The president also expressed the nation’s appreciation for the sacrifices rendered by security personnel in the fight against terrorism and pledged continued support for efforts aimed at eliminating extremist violence.
