Patients already suffering from asthma and allergies are also facing greater difficulties.The sudden drop in temperature combined with dry and cold winds has led to a noticeable increase in health complaints among residents.

Outpatient departments (OPDs) at both government and private hospitals in the city are witnessing heavy rush, with large numbers of people seeking treatment daily for weather-related ailments.Experts recommend wearing a mask outdoors to protect against dust and cold winds.

They also advise drinking lukewarm water, consuming hot beverages, soup and maintaining a balanced diet.
