Karachi: According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), Karachi is likely to witness light rain or intermittent drizzle today as a fresh wave of westerly winds sweeps across Sindh, altering the city’s weather dynamics.

The Met Office has projected rainfall accompanied by thunder and occasional lightning in Karachi and parts of interior Sindh, triggered by an active western weather system currently influencing the region.

The minimum temperature was recorded at 18.6°C, while the current temperature stands at 21°C. The maximum temperature is anticipated to hover between 28°C and 30°C later in the day.

Humidity levels have surged to 86 percent, creating a noticeably humid and overcast atmosphere.

Meanwhile, gentle southwesterly winds are blowing at a speed of 4 kilometers per hour, adding a mild chill to the air.

Residents are advised to remain vigilant, as sporadic showers and thunderstorms could briefly disrupt routine activities in various parts of the metropolis.
