According to data, nearly 43 million pilgrims performed Umrah in 2025.

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah visa that will remain valid for one year from the date of issuance, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The new visa allows pilgrims to enter Saudi Arabia multiple times during the year, with a cumulative stay of up to 90 days annually.

Under the visa rules, pilgrims must purchase an Umrah service package from an approved provider through the Nusuk platform before each visit. The package duration must not exceed the number of days remaining on the visa.

Pilgrims must also obtain an Umrah permit through the Nusuk app before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

According to the report, the visa will be deactivated each time a pilgrim leaves the country and reactivated once all requirements for the next visit have been met.

However, the visa cannot be used during the Hajj season, from the first day of Ziqad through the 13th of Zilhaj.

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah said the new visa will give pilgrims greater flexibility in planning their visits while supporting the integration of digital and operational services throughout their journey.

According to Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Statistics, nearly 43 million pilgrims performed Umrah in 2025.
