Sadie Sink has found the right balance to manage her career, which demands her to be in a spotlight constantly, and her personal life.
The 24-year-old actress, who has been in the showbiz industry since she was a child star, shared in an interview that she limits her use of social media very intentionally.
The Stranger Things star said, “I learned pretty early on that having social media on my phone wasn’t the best thing for me. So I don’t really have the app for Instagram or Twitter. I don’t keep it on my phone or anything. Sometimes I’ll have it if I’m feeling like I want it, but not all the time, just ’cause I think it’s what’s best for me.”
Sink continued, ”Especially when the show first came out, it was like a lot of attention all at once. So it didn’t scare me off, but I was just like, ‘Whoa, I wasn’t expecting it.’ I needed to take a step back and really evaluate my relationship with social media.”
The Spider-Man: Brand New Day actress added, ”And I think I found a nice balance. If I have a photo that I like, maybe I’ll post it, maybe I won’t. Some people love it, some people don’t like it; I’m kind of indifferent.”
