Rod Stewart performed at the Legends slot on the 2025 Glastonbury’s pyramid stage on June 29, 2025.

Only halfway through the set on Sunday, the rockstar had to leave the stage due to some reason.

After delighting the audience with his rendition of Do Ya Think I’m Sexy, Rod declared that he was leaving the stage for a while.

Referring to his backup singers, Rod told the crowd, “The girls are going to do a song for you while I change my shirt!”

While the singer was already battling with the heat at Worthy Farm as he removed his jacket, Rod returned in a bold pink suit.

It is worth mentioning that Rod Stewart also welcomed the founder of Glastonbury Michael Eavis on the stage to wish him a happy birthday.

This comes after Rod shared on the BBC’s Sidetracked podcast that he thinks the name of his performance slot, the teatime slot is “horrible.”

Noting that he doesn’t mind being called “legend” Rod Stewart said, “I don’t mind. I obviously think I deserve it. I just wish they wouldn’t call it the teatime slot.”
