LAHORE: A local court in Lahore has granted interim bail to TikTok influencers Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak in cases related to the promotion of gambling apps.

The hearing, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Mansoor Ali Qureshi, approved the bail applications until January 6, while ordering both accused to remain available for investigation. The court also barred the police from arresting the duo until the specified date.

The bail applications were filed through Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq. Rajab Butt sought bail in one case, while Nadeem Mubarak filed for bail in two cases registered by the NCCIA. Both individuals are currently facing charges under the National Crime and Cybercrime Investigation Act (NCCIA).

Earlier, Popular YouTubers Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak Naniwala have filed applications for interim bail in cases related to the promotion of online gambling.

The bail petitions, submitted through Barrister Mian Ali Ashfaq, requested the court to prevent their arrest so they can fully cooperate with ongoing investigations.

Rajab Butt has filed bail in one case, while Nadeem Naniwala has submitted bail requests in two separate cases registered by the NCCIA.

Speaking on behalf of Nadeem Naniwala, it was stated that the cases against him are incorrect and that he is willing to cooperate fully with the investigation.
