The minimum temperature in the city was recorded at 25.2°C, while the current temperature stands at 27°C. Humidity levels have reached 82% adding to the intensity of the heat.

The maximum temperature is likely to range between 33°C and 35°C. Westerly winds are blowing at a speed of 9 km/h, keeping the atmosphere warm and slightly breezy.

On a broader scale, the Met Office has forecast hot and dry weather across most plain areas of the country throughout the ongoing week.

Dry conditions are expected to prevail in the majority of regions with daytime temperatures remaining high particularly in the plains.

Islamabad and its surrounding areas will experience dry weather with chances of gusty winds in the afternoon. Gilgit-Baltistan may witness partly cloudy skies while Kashmir is expected to remain dry.

Most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will remain dry, with hot conditions in plain areas during the day. Punjab is also likely to experience hot and dry weather with strong, dust-laden winds expected in southern districts. Murree, Galliyat, and nearby areas are expected to remain dry.

In Sindh, most districts will continue to experience hot and dry weather, with the possibility of strong, dusty winds in the afternoon.

Balochistan is expected to remain dry overall while southern areas may face intensified heat during the day.
