Perrie Edwards has made a bold career move by leaving her management, Modest Management, and record label, Sony, after 15 years, according to reports.

The former Little Mix star, 33, has reportedly declined to sign a second record deal with Columbia.

Perrie has now signed up to Various Artists Management – the team behind acts such as Tom Grennan and Spice Girl Melanie Chisholm.

A source told The Sun: ‘This is a hugely exciting new chapter in Perrie’s solo career. She is assembling a new team around her as she begins work on her second album.

‘Perrie has come away from her first solo campaign with an even clearer sense of the artist she wants to be and the creative direction she wants to explore next.

‘She was offered the opportunity to make her second album with Columbia, but after more than a decade with Sony and Modest Management, she felt the time was right for a change across her career and a fresh start as she moves into this next era.’

Perrie is said to be focusing on building a team around her for her second album.
