ISLAMABAD: A spokesperson for Pakistan’s Foreign Office has strongly condemned the missile and drone attacks targeting energy installations in eastern Saudi Arabia, expressing deep concern over the incident.

According to the spokesperson, Pakistan conveyed profound sorrow over the loss of lives caused by the attacks attributed to Iran, and extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.

The Foreign Office stated that Pakistan also strongly denounces the damage inflicted on critical infrastructure, terming such actions unacceptable.

The spokesperson emphasized that these attacks constitute a serious violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The statement further reaffirmed Pakistan’s full solidarity with the government and people of Saudi Arabia during this difficult time, pledging continued and unwavering support for their security.

The spokesperson also warned that such actions risk escalating tensions in the region and could pose a serious threat to peace and stability, stressing the need to avoid further provocations.
