Islamabad: Pakistan has strongly condemned Israel’s recent actions in the West Bank, describing them as illegal and a violation of international law.

A spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated, “Pakistan strongly condemns Israel’s efforts to expand illegal settlements and convert the occupied West Bank into so-called Israeli state property.”

The spokesperson emphasized that these actions contravene multiple international laws, including United Nations Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. “Israel’s continuous violations of international law and provocative actions are undermining the prospects of a just, comprehensive, and lasting peace,” the statement added.

Pakistan has called on the international community to take concrete steps to hold Israel accountable. “Israeli actions should be rejected by the international community, and measures must be taken to ensure respect for international law,” the spokesperson urged.

The government of Pakistan reiterated its stance that lasting peace in the region can only be achieved through adherence to international law and a fair resolution of the Palestinian issue.
