Gaddafi Staium Lahore witnessed another golden moment in Pakistan cricket as the national team delivered a dominant performance to defeat Australia 3–0 in the T20 series, settling a seven-year-old score in emphatic style.

Winning the toss in the third and final T20, Pakistan chose to bat first and posted a massive 207 runs for the loss of six wickets in 20 overs. It was Pakistan’s highest-ever total against Australia in the T20 format.

Babar Azam and Saim Ayub laid a solid foundation with composed and attractive half-centuries. Shadab Khan then played a blistering knock of 46 runs, lifting the total to new heights. Fakhar Zaman, Salman Ali Agha and Khawaja Nafi also contributed valuable runs to strengthen the innings.

Chasing the target, Australia struggled under pressure and failed to reach the required total within the allotted overs. Pakistan comfortably won the match and completed a historic series clean sweep.

For Australia, Ben Warshuis picked up two wickets. Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha had earlier revealed three changes to the playing XI, bringing in Fakhar Zaman, Khawaja Nafi and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
