Olivia Rodrigo has achieved chart-topping success with her new album, you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love, and fans expect it to only grow higher as award season nears.
The 23-year-old pop superstar released the album on June 12, and broke many records.
Besides the singles from the album, the album tracks have also had a brilliant streaming run, and Hits Magazine believes her chances for a Grammy in 2027 are very high.
The publication named Rodrigo’s single, the cure, as a top contender for “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year” categories at the next Grammy awards.
Fans flocked to the comments on X, and shared their insights, writing, “That would be great, but I legitimately think she will send drop dead instead. She might submit the cure for song of the year but who knows.”
Another added, “Can her team be smart and send the cure to alt/rock radio already. They can then push it to pop later w/ a radio edit after stupid song reaches radio top 10. Y’all want honeybee/expectations as the next single but for the Grammys this would be the best move,” while a third asked, “Why not stupid song???”
More exclaimed, “Yes The Cure for SOTY!!!!” and “they should’ve pushed this on radio this Fall.”
