Oil, gas reserves hit 3.72b BOE

Natural gas reserves rose 9% to 20,664 billion cubic feet (bcf), compared with 18,981 bcf a year earlier.The improvement lifted Pakistan's estimated overall hydrocarbon reserve life to around 19 years, up from 15 years in June 2024 and June 2023.The strongest contribution to oil reserves came from the Baragzai field, whose reserves reached 49.09 million barrels, compared with 21.01 million barrels reported in December 2025.
