Meghan Markle called out over her latest ‘weird move’ as brand dubbed ‘memorably chaotic’
Meghan Markle called out over her latest ‘weird move’ as brand dubbed ‘memorably chaotic’

Meghan Markle has been called out over her handling of her brand As Ever as she keeps on changing her branding strategy.

According to a latest report, a royal expert has claimed that the Duchess of Sussex’s credibility was deeply hurt after she dropped a twerking video on Princess Lilibet’s birthday.

To mark her daughter’s fourth birthday, Meghan dropped a video dancing in a hospital room with Prince Harry while being heavily pregnant just hours before Lili’s birth.

The video did not sit well with royal experts with royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams calling it a “weird” move, per The Express.

Fitzwilliams discussed Meghan’s announcement that some of the As Ever products would be restocked and new products would also be released after hinting that she might take a “step back.”

Speaking with US business outlet Fast Company, Meghan said she wanted to “take a step back, gather data and figure out what As Ever could be” and that she would announce new range of products next year.

Saying that her handling of her lifestyle brand has been “memorably chaotic,” the expert said, “We were told its [As Ever’s] first set of products had been sold out, though sceptics wondered if this had been pre-arranged.”

“She then announced a ‘pause’, to enable her to ‘step back’ but now she is apparently ‘restocking’ and launching some new products,” he added.

“This gives an impression of a total absence of a serious business plan,” the expert added.

“She also may find that her credibility is affected by the weird ‘twerking video’, released to celebrate Lilibet’s fourth birthday.

“If she wants be an influencer, she must be taken seriously!”
