Heartbroken girlfriend of the late Liam Payne, Kate Cassidy opened up about dealing with grief and sadness during the festive season in a poignant post.
Cassidy took to her Instagram Stories on Christmas Eve to share the touching note months after the One Direction alums’ tragic death.
“As the holidays are here I realize it is a time for happiness and joy, but it is also a time of sadness and grief for so many,” she began.
Cassidy went on to say, “Be gentle with those around you this time of year as the holidays can feel different for everyone.”
“Sending all my love to those carrying grief this holiday, she noted, wishing a happy holiday season to everyone, “I hope the season brings you comfort and peace. Wishing everyone a love-filled and healthy holiday season this year.”
It is pertinent to mention that the singer-songwriter passed away after falling from a third-floor balcony of a hotel in Argentina.
Cassidy later revealed that Payne and she were about to tie the knot within one year.
