Kristin Cavallari has opened up about her decision to cut ties with her father, Dennis Cavallari.
The 38-year-old TV personality told Page Sig Radio on Thursday that she will never forgive her dad for “crossing the line” with her kids.
“A lot of stuff has gone on with my dad. He’s crossed the line with my kids, and those are dealbreakers for me,” Kristin explained to hosts Danny Murphy, Ian Mohr and Evan Real.
For those unversed, The Hills star shares three children with her ex-husband, Jay Cutler – sons Camden, 12, and Jaxon, 11, as well as daughter Saylor, 9.
Emphasizing the importance of accountability, Kristin said, “Like, if I hurt your feelings, and I come to you, you just want me to be like, ‘You know what? I am really sorry.’”
“Not be like, ‘Well, here’s why I did it.’ I don’t want you to defend yourself; just tell me you’re sorry and acknowledge it. It’s really difficult for a lot of people,” continued the Laguna Beach star.
She added, “And when you cross a boundary like my dad did and you can’t just take some accountability, well, I can’t have you in my life then.”
However, Kristen didn’t reveal what exactly happened between her father and her children.
