The performance attracted attention not only because of the song but also because of the students participation in Pakistan’s national celebration.

Korean university students have won praise from Pakistanis online after singing the iconic patriotic song “Dil Dil Pakistan” during Aug. 14 Independence Day celebration in South Korea, creating a touching tribute that highlighted the connection between people through music and culture.

The students took part in Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations in South Korea by performing the popular song, which has remained a favorite among Pakistanis for decades.

The choice of “Dil Dil Pakistan” made the celebration especially meaningful for Pakistani viewers. The song was originally performed by Vital Signs and became closely associated with the late Junaid Jamshed. Released in the late 1980s, it has remained one of Pakistan’s most recognizable patriotic songs.

Videos of the Korean students singing the song quickly circulated on social media. Pakistani users welcomed the performance and expressed happiness at seeing Korean students.

Many viewers appreciated the students for joining the celebrations from South Korea and showing interest in Pakistani culture. Their performance gave the celebrations an international touch and created a memorable moment for audiences in both countries.

Pakistani flags and decorations were also visible during the celebration, adding to the festive atmosphere.  The performance by the Korean university students added a different dimension to this year’s celebrations. The tribute also showed how music can connect people from different countries despite differences in nationality and distance.

The performance attracted attention not only because of the song but also because of the students participation in Pakistan’s national celebration. Their gesture was warmly received online and became a memorable part of festivities in South Korea.
